Kenai Landing is the central Peninsula 's newest (and oldest) conference and meeting destination. A newly renovated 1920s era cannery, steeped in 100 years of history and fishing tradition, Kenai Landing is unlike any meeting facility in Alaska . Modern Age Lodging and meeting facilities combine with the nastalgia, romance, and authenticity of one of Alaska 's most beautiful and well preserved canneries to create a truly memorable, and Alaskan, experience.
A massive complex of over 20 buildings on 65 acres, Kenai Landing fronts on the famous Kenai River , overlooking a wildlife sanctuary of wetlands, mountain vistas and a river teeming with activity. Private docks service our customers arriving by boat, and on-site services ranging from a theatre and brewpub to full service fish processing and a warehouse market with retail shops and museum, all combine to make an exciting, vibrant atmosphere where something is going on all the time. Nature trails and sunset beach walks out the backdoor ensure that those seeking "quiet time" have equal opportunity.
Kenai Landing is capable of handling groups of up to 400 people, in multiple locations and venues. The Egg House is a modern 9,000 s.f. warehouse capable of holding 3-500 people; The "Mess Hall" can seat 200 theatre style or 150 on round tables in a slightly more formal setting, whereas the theatre can hold 100, and the restaurant & lounge up to 200 for special occasions. We also have small "Fishermen's Cottages" for more private and intimate settings of 5-10 people.
While new in 2004, with portions of the project still under development, Kenai Landing has successfully executed multiple weddings, local reunions of up to 150 people, and community events such as the annual "Food Bank" soup dinner and live auction featuring over 300 people.
